BIOGRAPHY

Carol Logan Newbill has been called a "Renaissance woman" because of the wide variety of her skills. She has been sewing since she was 7, making quilts since 1975 and making art quilts since 1990. She compiled and edited quilt books for a large publishing company for a number of years, later opening her own pattern design company to showcase her original designs. Her background in computer programming, graphics, and illustration led naturally into developing her own websites in the late 1990s, a skill which has grown into a full-fledged business with current clients from across the United States and Canada.

As a member of the Quilt Design Team, Carol designed and maintains the team website. She creates quilt designs and provides illustrations, instructions, and project sheets as required. As an editor, she is happy to provide copy editing and proofreading services as well.

Carol lives in Birmingham, Alabama, with her husband, son, and Millie, the Adorable Hairy Beast.
